GRAPHENO-1
& GRAPHENO-1 MINI
– ELECTROCHEMICAL CRACK ARREST SYSTEM

PORTABLE STRUCTURAL REPAIR.
FIELD-READY.
MISSION-ALIGNED.
OVERVIEW
The Grapheno‑1 and Grapheno-1 Mini are a family of compact, battery-powered electrochemical deposition systems engineered for on-site arrest of fatigue cracks in military aircraft and metallic structures. The Grapheno-1 is a full-sized version of the system applicable to repair facilities and semi-permanent installations, while the Grapheno-1 Mini condenses the best features of the system into a handheld device which can be utilized anywhere, in any conditions. Regardless of the specific model used, the Grapheno-1 system applies precise nanocoatings that halt crack growth, extend component life, and support Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM+), all without disassembly or depot-level logistics.
Deployed as field tools, operated by a single technician, and backed by predictive modeling, Grapheno‑1 and Grapheno-1 Mini transform structural repair from reactive to proactive.
HOW IT WORKS
1
ELECTROCHEMICAL CRACK ARREST
Delivers high-performance metallic nanocoatings at the crack tip via controlled current and electrolyte infusion.
2
WAND-BASED APPLICATOR
Ergonomic handpiece applies treatment directly over the crack.
3
MULTI-PARAMETER CONTROL
Temperature, flow, current density, and time are optimized for the alloy being treated, as well as the crack geometry.
4
DATA-LOGGING + MODELING
Logs treatment data and predicts fatigue life extension.
Typical application time:
< 10 minutes
Power:
Rechargeable lithium-ion battery
Usable anywhere — no cleanroom or power source required
TARGET USE CASES
SUSTAINING AIRCRAFT SAFETY
In-situ treatment of stress cracks on B-52, KC-135, C-130, F-15, and legacy military aircraft platforms.
BATTLE DAMAGE REPAIR
Rapid reinforcement of cracked components in forward-operating environments.
DEPOT
AVOIDANCE
Reduces the need for full part replacement or depot-level teardown.
PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE
Integrates with fatigue modeling to extend inspection intervals and mission life.
