OVERVIEW
ETHYVIA™
– TRIPLE-ACTION NANOCLAY SACHET
EXTEND SHELF LIFE.
CUT SPOILAGE.
ZERO POWER REQUIRED.
Quantum Diffusion Corp
Ethyvia™ is a palm-sized, fully compostable sachet that extends the shelf life of climacteric fruits (such as bananas, tomatoes, and avocados) by suppressing ethylene gas and microbial growth. Designed for military supply chains, austere deployments, and global produce logistic shipping, it offers five weeks of protection without requiring powered cooling solutions or workflow changes.
HOW IT WORKS
1
ETHYLENE SCAVENGER
Alkaline-activated halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) absorb excess ethylene gas to slow ripening.
2
ANTIMICROBIAL VAPOR
HNTs loaded with food-grade clove oil slowly release vapor to inhibit fungal and bacterial growth.
3
PLANT IMMUNITY BOOSTER
Salicylic acid vapor primes fruit tissue to resist spoilage, mimicking natural plant defenses.
Inside each plant-based sachet are three nanoclay packets that create a protective microenvironment:
Just drop into any standard produce crate.
No chemicals, batteries, or equipment required.
DESIGNED FOR DEFENSE, BUILT FOR SCALE
SPOILAGE REDUCTION
Cuts waste by over 30% in DLA reefer shipments.
MISSION READINESS
Extends freshness during long transits to ships and forward bases.
OPERATIONAL FIT
Cuts waste by over 30% in DLA reefer shipments.
REGULATORY READY
Designed for GRAS, FDA 21 CFR, and ASTM D6400 compliance.
SHELF LIFE
Up to 35 days protection in 10–16°C, 90% RH conditions.
